Urgent Care ICU/CCU/Remote Nurses | Forest Hill | Casual1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicantsThe RoleWe''re thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for experienced nurses with backgrounds in Intensive Care, Critical Care, Coronary Care, or Remote Nursing to join our dynamic Urgent Care Centre in Forest Hill. Urgent Care Centres are an emerging and essential part of the healthcare landscape, providing an alternative to emergency departments for non-lifethreatening conditions and supporting the broader health system.ResponsibilitiesAssess and triage patients on arrival to determine service suitability.Deliver immediate frontline clinical care.Act promptly for any triaged patients requiring emergency escalation or due to deterioration.Perform procedural work such as suturing and plastering.Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability for the dynamic Urgent Care environment.Deliver highquality, personcentered care in collaboration with patients, families, carers, and medical practitioners.Ensure patients achieve desired clinical outcomes.Provide essential health education to patients.Complete all documentation accurately and promptly.QualificationsAHPRA Registered Nurse.Must be available evenings and weekends.Required to provide a Working with Children Check and National Police Check.Previous experience in triage within an emergency department preferred but not essential.Minimum of 3 years of experience in acute care settings, including remote nursing, coronary care, critical care, ICU, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in acute care settings.3 years'' experience as an RN preferred.ICU nursing experience welcomed.Ability to assess and recognise health deterioration and escalate appropriately.Strong communication skills both verbal and written and a high level of critical thinking.Can work autonomously and delegate when appropriate.A passion for people with a personable approach.Benefits20% off dental treatments for you and your family.Fitness Passport discounted gym benefits for you and your family.24/7 access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Health insurance discounts.Provided Uniforms.Free onsite parking.Ongoing training, development and support.Work around your schedule!
