Business Development Manager (VIC & SA)Food, Dairy & Packaging SolutionsAn established and highly respected supplier of food processing and packaging equipment is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to take ownership of Victoria and South Australia.This business works across meat, dairy and a growing range of food sectors including ready meals, wine, and general food manufacturing, and is in a strong growth phase as they expand into new markets and applications.The role is field-based, with an office available, but you will spend most of your time on the road with customers, developing relationships, identifying opportunities and driving capital equipment sales.The RoleYou will be responsible for driving equipment sales across VIC & SA, managing an existing customer base while developing new business across both established and emerging food sectors.While another sales specialist covers meat processing, this role has responsibility for:DairyGeneral foodReady mealsWine & beverageNew and developing packaging applicationsYou will work closely with internal engineering, service and support teams to design and deliver complete, value driven equipment and packaging solutions.What You''ll Be DoingDeveloping new customer relationships across food and beverage manufacturingManaging and growing existing accounts through regular engagementConducting site visits, needs analysis and solution presentationsSelling capital equipment solutions that improve efficiency, quality and profitabilityWorking towards monthly activity, sales and revenue targetsBuilding and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline in CRMAttending industry events and trade showsProviding market and customer insights to leadershipWhat We''re Looking ForThis role suits a technical, solutions-focused salesperson who is comfortable selling high value equipment into manufacturing environments.You will bring:4+ years'' experience selling capital equipment or packaging solutions (food, packaging, automation, industrial or similar)A strong track record of meeting and exceeding targetsExperience selling into food, dairy, beverage, meat or FMCG manufacturingConfidence engaging with production managers, engineers and business ownersA self-starting, proactive approach and strong territory management skillsYou''ll also have:A clean driver''s licence and enjoy being on the roadStrong communication and negotiation skillsCRM experience (Salesforce or similar)A professional, polished and customer focused styleWhat''s On OfferA well established brand with strong credibility in the marketA defined VIC & SA territory with real growth potentialA broad product portfolio across processing and packagingAutonomy, flexibility and strong internal supportCompetitive base salary + uncapped commission + fully maintained vehicle#J-18808-Ljbffr
