OverviewAre you an experienced production leader looking to take the next step in your career with a proud, family-owned Australian company?G.James NSW Glass Operations, based in Smithfield, is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. In this role you''ll be responsible for overseeing production to ensure timely delivery of quality products that meet Australian Standards, while supporting cost control, fostering a positive safety-focused team culture, and assisting the Factory Manager and other Supervisors.About G. We are known for quality, stability, and a strong commitment to developing our people.The RoleLead Daily Production Operations: Coordinate staff, schedules, materials, and systems to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production and DIFOT targets, ensuring quality output with minimal rework.Team Management & Development: Supervise and support staff performance, deliver training and inductions, promote multi-skilling, and maintain a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.Safety Leadership: Champion WHS policies, deliver safety inductions/toolbox talks, monitor compliance, report incidents/hazards, and ensure all PPE and housekeeping standards are maintained.Quality Assurance & Process Improvement: Oversee quality checks at each stage, ensure accurate production and QA records, identify and direct rework, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Liaise with Factory Manager and Supervisors on production planning, escalate issues, maintain internal/external relationships, and produce regular production reports.About the ApplicantExperienced Leader: Prior supervisory or leading hand experience in manufacturing, with strong knowledge of WHS legislation, G.
