About the roleAssist with the maintenance, servicing and repair of cranes and heavy equipment (mechanical, hydraulic and diesel systems).Learning to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and manuals to support part fabrication and assembly.Operating and assisting with machining and fitting tasks including cutting, shaping, drilling, grinding and fitting metal components.Assisting in dismantling and reassembling crane components and precision parts.Supporting fault finding, diagnostic testing and breakdown repairs.Learning to install, adjust and fit hydraulic pneumatic lines under supervision.Keeping accurate workshop records and assisting in maintaining tools and equipment.Adhering to safety procedures and company policies at all times.About youNo prior skills are required but it would be an advantage if you have worked on your own car before, enjoy working on cars and engines and have a basic knowledge of how it works.Our ideal candidate will also have the following attributes:Ability to lift heavy objectsA positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learnHave high attention to detailBe trustworthy and reliableA genuine interest in building a long-term career in the crane industryWhat can we offer you?Earn while you learn and become a qualified Diesel MechanicFortnightly accrued RDOIf you believe you would be a successful candidate, please submit your resume to [email protected]#J-18808-Ljbffr
