Reporting to the Production Manager, this role will coach and develop the team to deliver production targets in a safe and efficient manner.ResponsibilitiesLead the production team to ensure efficient, safe operation of product and minimisation of wasteBuild a culture where people act like owners to deliver business goalsProvide open and honest, candid feedback in the moment; recognise great work and address performance issues earlyManage clear expectations for the team, provide resources/tools, and balance high support with high challengeIdentify and promote continuous improvement to product, processes and systemsCollaborate with supply, maintenance, and planning teams to improve productivity and adjust the production plan as neededEnsure strict food safety, legality and quality requirements are adhered toSupport change and foster an environment where change is embracedAbout YouThe ideal candidate will have:Min 2+ years in a Supervisory or leadership roleFMCG or other fast-paced production/manufacturing experienceProven leadership skillsExtensive problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysisExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholdersKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes and principlesAbout UsAt Tip Top Bakeries, we produce an extensive range of wholesome sliced bread, muffins, crumpets, pies, and bakery snacks.
