Reliability Leader Central EngineeringJoin OneSteel Whyalla Steelworks as a Reliability Leader within the Central Engineering team, where you''ll drive operational excellence and lead a high-performing group of reliability and condition monitoring professionals. This pivotal role is focused on enhancing equipment reliability, reducing costs, and embedding best practices across the site.About the RoleAs the Reliability Leader, you will oversee a team of seven engineers across reliability, condition monitoring, and lubrication disciplines. Your mission is to deliver expert technical services that improve asset performance and support strategic business outcomes. Key responsibilities include:Leading safety, environmental, and operational security initiativesProviding specialist technical services including asset strategy compliance, statutory inspections, and project deliveryDriving quality assurance and process development through audits and customer feedbackManaging inventory to align with budget and operational needsBuilding team capability through coaching, development planning, and performance managementCollaboration is central to this roleyou''ll work closely with plant users, business unit representatives, and HR to ensure alignment with operational priorities.About YouYou''re a seasoned engineering professional with at least five years'' experience in heavy industry, and a passion for reliability and continuous improvement.
