Join Gilead and help create possible, together.Job DescriptionPartner with the clinical operations team to provide scientific support to trial sites and ensure sharing of insightsServe as internal scientific expert in the therapy area, healthcare landscape, and data on Gilead and competitor medicinesRepresent Gilead with the external multidisciplinary scientific and HCP community, through scientific engagement, group presentations, advisory boards, conferences and other activities as requiredDevelop above-country networks to ensure sharing of key insights, ideas and resourcesIdentification of actionable insights from external stakeholders including advisory boards and market research to ensure pre-launch and launch plans addresses the unmet needKnowledge and SkillsAdvanced scientific or clinical degreeMinimum 5 years experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry preferredDeep understanding and experience navigating complex oncology ecosystemsFunctional experience in the pre-launch and post- launch setting, experience or strong knowledge in oncology strongly preferredDemonstrated deep understanding of patient journey sEstablished relationships with oncology networks desiredEvidence of strong medical affairs acumen required ;Understand future trends and shape ecosystems to enable introduction of new treatment paradigmsLeadership in matrix and cross functional team structures with agility, transparency and innovationThrives in an agile setting with dynamic release and fast uptake of new dataDemonstrated ability to lead change through thinking strategically to drive innovationDemonstrated relational intelligence by generating value through impactful interactionsDemonstrated leadership of developing and delivering on cross functional pre-launch and launch plans including; strategic project management through leading valuable and impactful projects aligned to the needs of the patients and other stakeholders they serve, by engaging internal and external stakeholders and resourcesExcellent written, verbal, relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills with varied audiences and executivesStrong analytical skills, demonstrated by the ability to identify and interpret complex issues and provide appropriate recommendations to senior management and across functional areasDemonstrated ability to develop relationships and networks at senior levels internal and external to the companyAptitude to understand and lead through complex issues, identify key insights, and communicate salient points to varying audiences requiredDemonstrated leadership and prioritisation capabilityAbility to work with a high level of autonomy and independence requiredAdherence to all regulatory, legal, and business conduct requirements requiredAbility to travel to domestic and international conferences which will include occasional weekend travelGilead Leadership CommitmentsYou will be a role model of the Gilead Leadership Commitments, which are five principles that articulate clear expectations for behaviours and mindsets of all Gilead employees.
