We are a leading provider of management and construction solutions to clients across the energy and oil & gas sectors with a proven track record across Australia.This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a growing business operating across multiple projects and locations nationwide.About The RoleDue to continued growth, Global have an exciting opportunity for a Coater/Blaster to join our team. This is based on our Santos - Cooper Basin Project, on a 3:1 (3 weeks on, 1 week off) roster.As a tradesperson at Global, you will efficiently and effectively provide construction and maintenance services across a range of sites. You''ll work on mechanical, civil, and fabrication tasks in line with project schedules and specifications. Key responsibilities include:Prepare and clean pipe surfaces using abrasive blasting to meet project standards.Apply protective coatings to pipelines and structures.Inspect coated surfaces to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.Maintain blasting and coating equipment and follow strict safety procedures.Collaborate with site supervisors, welders, and inspectors to ensure smooth workflow.Completing tasks according to agreed schedules, specifications, and client instructions.Participating in daily pre-start meetings, task safety, and SWMS reviews.Maintaining tools and equipment to a high standard.Skills and ExperiencesAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:Experience and/or qualification in a relevant trade (e.g., Coater, Blaster, Painter, Surface Preparation & Coating)Construction White Card (mandatory)Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence (mandatory)Crane Licence (desired)4WD Certificate (desired)Ability to interpret drawings and apply knowledge of materials, methods, and techniquesExperience in civil works, construction, or maintenance environmentsKnowledge of safe work practices in constructionAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skillsPrevious experience in the Oil & Gas industry and/or FIFO (desirable)Global BenefitsBeing part of the Global team gives you access to a range of benefits.
