The ClubThe National is a world class, private golf club, providing unique member experiences on four golf courses across two sites at Cape Schanck and Long Island.In addition to having access to four world class golf courses, members enjoy state-of-the-art facilities and service. The club operates a restaurant with the capacity to comfortably seat more than 300 dining guests a bar, and on-course catering facilities.The RolesThe National Golf Club is looking to engage casual Hospitality Attendants to join our friendly and dedicated team. Reporting to the Hospitality Manager, Hospitality Assistant Manager, Bar and Restaurant Manager, and Hospitality Supervisors, working along with our highly motivated team, making a positive contribution to the Club.Key ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibility of a Hospitality Attendant is to deliver exceptional service and promote a friendly club environment for our Members and their invited guests throughout the Club.As a Hospitality attendant, you will also be required to assist with setting up and packing down the restaurant and bar areas following service periods.You are expected to foster strong relationships with staff, members and their invited guests. Communicate effectively with the management team to promote a positive work environment all whilst ensuring adherence to all company policies and procedures are maintained.About YouThe successful candidate will have the following skills and background:Demonstrated experience in a similar role preferred, but not essentialThe ability to work under pressure in a busy and dynamic environmentResponsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) CertificateApplicants must be 18 years or older to meet licensing requirements for this positionYou have a sound understanding of workplace health and safety standardsFlexibility to work weekends, and public holidays as requiredFlexibility to work from either siteWhat we offerCasual positions including some night and weekend work to match our busier trading timesStable working environment with a great teamWe foster an environment of belonging, celebrate diversity at the Club and make hiring decisions based on experience, skill and passion.
