We currently have multiple projects on the go and our projection for growth means we are actively looking for talent across all aspects of our business.The OpportunityWe are currently seeking an experienced Senior Piping Designer to join our growing office team based in Ascot , WAReporting to the Drawing Office Manager, you will play an integral role in the design of wet and dry mineral process plants and bulk material handling projects.With a solid pipeline of work, this is an exciting time to join GRES with the opportunity for you to develop alongside us.Key Responsibilities of the roleLead piping design efforts for large-scale EPC projects from conception to completionProduce models and detailed technical drawings, in accordance with standards, policies and proceduresCommunicate with the project team, provide updates, raise issues and attend team meetingsCoordinate with the design and engineering teams to ensure designs are accurate, feasible and meet project requirementsDeliver and contribute to practical solutionsProvide technical guidance and leadership to junior team membersDevelop piping layouts and detailed drawings based on project requirements and specificationsEnsure the quality of deliverables in line with the relevant codes and standards, needs of the customer and regulatory authoritiesSkills/QualificationsAt least 10 years of multi-discipline experience in piping design and drafting within the EPC environmentProficient in the design layout of mineral processing plantsAdvance diploma or equivalent in Engineering is desirableExperience with SolidEdge, SolidWorks or Inventor is desirableMust have full and unrestricted Australian working rightsWhat''s on offerWith over 800 employees across Australia, our focus is to create a rewarding working environment where you will be valued and appreciated for your knowledge, experience and innovative mind.Here at GRES, we offer:Competitive salary and remuneration packagesOpportunities to grow your career as the business growsA collaborative and supportive team environment with all the tools to succeedGRES provides 24 weeks of paid parental leave to primary caregivers.Friendly supportive cultureFree parking AscotGRES is an equal opportunity employer and believes that diversity, equity and inclusion deepens our depth of knowledge, capability and experience.
