Build Stronger Gymsports and Accelerate Participation Growth NationwideGymnastics Australia is looking for a forward-thinking, community-minded leader to drive Gymsport development and participation growth across the country.As Head of Sport Development, you will shape the systems, programs and partnerships that help more Australians access safe, welcoming and enjoyable gymnastics experiences, and help clubs deliver them confidently.You''ll lead national participation and Gymsport development initiatives, ensuring our programs and frameworks truly support growth.You''ll work in partnership with National Commissions and clubsto strengthen pathways and make it easier for more people to enter and stay in the sport.You''ll guide the evolution of Gymsport frameworks, participation programs and technical regulations, helping clubs deliver high-quality gymnastics experiences.You''ll join a values-driven team focused on improving member connection, capability and belonging.About youYou understand gymnastics. You can speak the language of clubs, coaches, judges and technical leaders because you''ve lived it.You will excel in this role if you:Bring strong gymnastics knowledgefrom being an athlete, coach, judge, technical member or club administrator.Are passionate about growing participation, strengthening pathways and helping clubs adopt programs that work.Can collaborate effectively with National Commissions, clubs and State/Territory Associations.Lead teams with clarity, purpose and a focus on delivering national outcomes.Communicate with confidence and empathy, always keeping member experience at the centre.This is a role for someone who knows how the sport actually works, and wants to help shape its future.Location and flexibilityWe strongly prefer Melbourne-based candidates, but exceptional remote applicants will be considered.
