OverviewCustomer Service OfficerGovernment DepartmentPort AdelaideFull-Time: ASAP start - 31 July 2026$43.19 - $46.03 per hour + SuperAn exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join a SA State Government department within the Service Desk Team, Business Systems, based in Port Adelaide.This is a full-time, fixed-term role commencing ASAP through to 31 July 2026, offering competitive hourly rates and the chance to work in a fast-paced, supportive government environment.About the Role & Team Reporting to the Team Leader, Service Desk, Business Systems, you will be part of a team responsible for delivering high-quality support to users of business applications managed by the department. The Service Desk operates Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, providing frontline assistance across multiple government branches. The role focuses on user access management, system functionality support, and customer service excellence.You will support applications and systems including:Business and finance systemsTenders and contractsPurchase Card Expense Management System (EMS)ANZ TransactiveResponsibilitiesProvide timely, professional, and high-quality frontline customer service via phone and emailGrant system access and resolve functionality issues across multiple applicationsSupport systems including Basware, CHRIS21, HR21, and MasterpieceWork collaboratively within the Departments team to meet daily targets and deadlinesIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficientlyContribute positively to team goals and continuous improvementCandidate RequirementsCurrent National Police Clearance (mandatory)Proven experience in customer service, ideally within a call centre environmentExperience with Accounts Payable/Receivable processesHands-on experience with Basware and CHRIS21Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and ExcelProfessional phone manner with clear, concise communicationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage high volumes of work and meet strict deadlinesQuick learner with the ability to adapt to new systemsCapability to translate critical information accurately into database softwareHow to ApplyIf you are available to start immediately and meet the above criteria, I would love to hear from you.Please send your updated resume to:[email protected]#J-18808-Ljbffr
