Located in Como, just across the road from the stunning Neil McDougall Park, it is a friendly, familyoriented home with a welcoming atmosphere.About the roleAs a DON, you''ll ensure the facility is fully occupied, meeting accreditation standards, while cultivating a stable and positive workplace culture for our diverse staff. Your advanced clinical and leadership experience will be vital to ensuring we provide safe, effective, and highquality care to our agedcare residents.Your wellhoned communication, assessment, and problemsolving skills are easily demonstrated when managing an aged care facility and leading interdisciplinary teams, implementing Quality Management and Continuous Improvement programs, and providing relationshipcentred care that ensures the dignity and respect of all residents.What you''ll bringTertiary qualification (Bachelor or higher) in Nursing and AHPRA registrationExtensive management experience in a Residential Aged Care facilityStrong communication skills, with an ability to provide instruction to nurses and build strong relationships with residents and their familiesWorking knowledge of the strengthened quality standards (Aged Care Act 2024), ideally in a management capacityUnderstanding of ANACC funding modelNDIS Worker Screening CheckNational Police Clearance (within past 6 months)Full working rights in AustraliaWhat we offerOur people are integral to achieving our vision of being a leading aged care provider in Australia.
