The team partners closely with all areas of the business to define strategy, roadmaps, and feature delivery across the technology ecosystemcovering new initiatives, existing platforms, and continuous improvements.The team is tech-savvy, commercially focused, and driven by big-picture thinking with a passion for innovation.What''s InvolvedAs a Product Manager for Discovery, you will shape how customers search for, navigate, and discover productscreating intuitive, high-performing experiences across web and mobile channels.You will partner closely with senior leaders across the Customer Product function, as well as Engineering, Data Science, Trade, and Marketing teams, to align on where time, effort, and investment are best applied to improve discovery experiences and the underlying platform capabilities.You will shape initiatives by clearly defining the Definition of Why (e.g. improving relevance, increasing conversion, reducing operational cost, scaling platform performance, or improving stability). You will work day-to-day with engineering teams to quantify opportunity size, evaluate technical options, define solution approaches, and build clear, achievable release plans.What Success Looks LikeLead both strategic initiatives and BAU improvements across the Discovery domain (Search and Catalogue).Drive next-generation discovery experiences through advancements in ranking, relevance, NLP, semantic search, and personalisation.Lead discovery and scoping phases to deeply understand customer problems and articulate clear value propositions.Improve search relevance, conversion, and customer satisfaction through experimentation, A/B testing, and deep data analysis.Partner closely with UX and research teams to deliver intuitive, accessible discovery experiences.Own the strategic product vision and roadmap for Search & Discovery.Collaborate with other Product Managers to ensure cohesive customer journeys across adjacent initiatives.Communicate proactively and transparently with stakeholders across the business.Champion strong product thinking and contribute to the broader product practice.Identify growth opportunities and drive continuous experimentation.What We''re Looking ForProduct Management experience, including ownership of user-facing products.Proven experience leading search, discovery, or similarly data-rich product areas in high-traffic, consumer-facing environments.Strong experience partnering with AI/ML teams on information retrieval, ranking models, NLP, or query understanding.Experience working in agile delivery environments.Demonstrated ability to create and execute product roadmaps from conception to launch, including go-to-market planning.Experience with search, catalogue, and ranking logic.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong stakeholder and relationship management capabilities.Ways to Stand OutExperience building digital products in e-commerce, particularly across web and mobile.Experience working with large-scale catalogues (100k+ SKUs).Practical understanding of search infrastructure (e.g. Elasticsearch, Solr, OpenSearch, or vector databases).Life at the CompanyPeople are at the centre of everything we do.
