OverviewImmunisation Registered Nurse AMS - Cunnamulla, Queensland.Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time (8am - 5pm Monday to Friday).Practice Information: BB Practice Aboriginal Medical ServicePosition DescriptionThe purpose of this position is to work within the organisation to enhance Immunisation uptake within the community promoting Immunisation Services.ResponsibilitiesThis role: you will be responsible for the delivery of community-based Immunisation promotion activities.Stakeholder engagement and building local partnershipsCommunication and engagement activities to promote cancer awareness in the communityWorking with the local community and Immuniser program governance structure to identify uptake priorities within the community, including Communities of PracticeComplete an evaluation of the immunisation program activities to measure success of the delivery of the program activity/initiativeCommunity is informed, followed up and program-based education is provided to encourage participation before services arrive in communityConduct and support a range of health education, promotion and prevention activities across the CACH FootprintThe position will be responsible for the delivery of:Further Immunisation ActivitiesCommunity Days & Clinic Support ActivitiesACCHS Staff Training WorkshopsDistribute health information/program materials and support participants in making lifestyle choices and understanding of risk factors re ImmunisationsSurvey conducted on a 6 monthly basis or Local interviews conducted with key community groups or yarning circles on a 6-monthly basisUse of Pen cs to cleanse AIR and MD DataAbility to obtain PRODA RegistrationData cleansing of Immunisations for Children realignment with AIR data to identify catch up immunisations requiredClean data, pathway to identify and immunize Children falling through the gapsManage all ordering and compliance associated with Immunisation fridgeIncrease education to carers support for ImmunisationManage the staff Immunisation programPosition Requirements:Mandatory:Registered Nurse with AHPRA RegistrationIPN QualificationsPost graduate experience of 3-4 yearsCurrent Queensland Driver''s LicenceCurrent Positive Blue Card NoticeCurrent First Aid/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)Current National Criminal History CheckIT Skills and Microsoft Office Experience (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)Demonstrated experience working in Health or Community engagement/development programs is desirable.This position may be subject to:Drug & Alcohol Screening andMedical Evaluation ClearanceSalary Information: $80,000 - $90,000 per annum.About Cunnamulla: Living in Cunnamulla offers a warm, tight-knit community and a slower outback lifestyle with affordable housing and a connection to nature.
