We''re currently recruiting for multiple Junior to Mid-level Applications Engineers for our client, a global leader in the manufacture of braking, electronic and related subsystems for commercial vehicles.These are full-time, permanent positions, based primarily in our client''s Southeast Melbourne office, with regular work across test sites and occasional travel as required.Roles and ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support and application advice to OE truck and trailer customersSupport and lead engineering projects and technical solutions for OE customer programsUndertake hands-on field work including testing, troubleshooting, and product applicationSupport compliance activities including brake calculations and requirements aligned to ADR, UNECE, and NZ Air Brake CodeAssist with trailer braking kit drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and engineering documentationSupport Component Type Approval (CTA) testing, reporting, and submissions to regulatory bodiesSkills and RequirementsQualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similarExperience in applications engineering, technical customer support, and stakeholder managementStrong understanding of commercial vehicle braking systems, including pneumatic and electronic controls, trailer applications, chassis management, air supply, ADBs, and actuatorsWilling to travel to customer and test sites as requiredAbout UsHeaton Rail undertakes work both locally and internationally for some of the world''s best Rail, Defence, and Heavy Industry organisations that make a positive difference to millions of people''s lives every day.We help our clients do more, faster and better by connecting them with bright and passionate engineering, management and specialist talent in the fastest way possible.#J-18808-Ljbffr
