Job Description

KBR are the Principal Design partner on the North Western Program Alliance (NWPA). The Alliance comprises of Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP), Metro Trains Melbourne, Vline, KBR, and John Holland. NWPA was established in 2017 and has delivered on approximately $3B of transport infrastructure projects for the state of Victoria and local communities. Based on our success, NWPA continues to attract further programs of work across all stages of the engineering lifecycle. NWPA are fortunate to hold a significant pipeline of committed and future projects. These include flagship, transformative projects such as Sunshine Superhub Project. Your role will have considerable impact and influence across design, delivery, and handover. Whilst this position will initially join NWPA, it is a permanent role with KBR which opens a door to working on other iconic infrastructure projects nationally and across various market sectors. Who are you? The ideal candidate will have extensive Design Management experience and expertise in the Victorian industry. You will have the ability to manage large, complex projects or programs of work with multiple stakeholders in challenging environments. You will lead and develop teams using your interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally. It is expected that you will have a tertiary qualification in Engineering or related degree. Key responsibilities Strong understanding of client needs, strive to achieve a high level of client satisfaction Lead the preparation of tenders & TOC submissions including budget & governance approval documents. Work closely across partners to provide technical input and ensure quality technical/engineering outcomes for projects Work with project teams to review deliverables and ensure compliance with technical and quality assurance standards.
