For over 31 years, we have worked with some of the world''s leading energy companies, providing our expertise in fire protectionPosition SummaryThe Fire Protection Project Manager New Construction is responsible for managing fire sprinkler construction projects from contract award through final turnover. This role has full accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client coordination, with a strong emphasis on Procore as the primary project management platform. This position reports to the Commercial Operations Manager.This position is strictly focused on new construction projects. A background in fire protection systems (sprinkler, fire alarm, suppression, or related life safety systems) is considered a strong asset and supports effective coordination with field teams, engineers, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).Key ResponsibilitiesNew Construction Project DeliveryManage fire protection new construction projects from kickoff through closeoutDevelop and maintain project schedules, manpower plans, and construction sequencingCoordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractorsProactively manage scope, change, risk, and constructability issuesLead project kickoff meetings, coordination meetings, and progress reviewsProcore Management & DocumentationAct as the primary Procore administrator for assigned construction projectsManage drawings, RFIs, submittals, change events, meeting minutes, and project recordsTrack budgets, commitments, cost forecasts, and change orders in ProcoreEnsure real-time project visibility and accurate documentationEnforce Procore standards and best practices across project teamsManage project budgets, cost controls, and margin performancePrepare, price, negotiate, and track change orders and extrasReview progress billings and subcontractor invoicesIdentify scope gaps, contract risks, and recovery opportunitiesSupport monthly forecasting and financial reportingField Coordination & Quality ControlCoordinate closely with Road Supervisors, Superintendents, and site teamsEnsure installation aligns with drawings, specifications, and applicable codesSupport inspections with AHJs, engineers, and consultantsTrack deficiencies and ensure timely corrective actionsPromote quality workmanship and accountability on siteSafety & ComplianceSupport company safety programs and site-specific safety requirementsEnsure compliance with OH&S regulations and GC safety policiesParticipate in incident investigations and corrective actionsReinforce a safety-first culture throughout construction activitiesClient & Stakeholder CommunicationServe as the primary point of contact for general contractors and clientsProvide regular updates on schedule, cost, and construction progress to Commercial Operations ManagerManage expectations and resolve issues professionallyBuild strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partnersQualifications & Experience2 -5+ years of construction project management experience (new construction required)Proven proficiency in Procore (required)Fire protection construction experience considered a strong assetExperience delivering commercial, residential, or institutional construction projectsStrong understanding of construction contracts, drawings, and specificationsJourneyperson or technical trade background considered an assetStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesStrong financial and cost-control mindsetAbility to manage multiple construction projects simultaneouslyHigh attention to detail and documentation accuracyAbility to work effectively with field and office teamsCombination of office and construction site environmentsOccasional after-hours meetings or project deadlinesWhat We OfferCompany vehicle or allowanceBenefits packageCareer growth opportunitiesSafety-first, team-oriented cultureHere''s what you can expectA strong culture of continuous learning and developmentA positive and supportive work environment where safety and teamwork come firstA diverse and inclusive workplace that values different perspectives and experiencesLeadership that supports your success and encourages professional growthWe are committed to building a workforce that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve.
