This team sits at the heart of how Zip brings products to life, balancing customer experience, commercial outcomes and regulatory excellence.As a Senior Payment Operations & Scheme Compliance Manager, you''ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our issuing programs operate seamlessly and in line with scheme expectations. You''ll own our Principal Member relationship, partner closely with Visa, and work across the business to strengthen oversight, governance and operational excellence across Zip''s card programs.What you''ll ownEnd to end management of Zip''s scheme compliance and operational obligations across issuing programsPrimary relationship management with our card scheme partner, including leading external meetings, requests and reviewsDesigning, executing and embedding robust product compliance and operational frameworks across paymentsOversight of scheme rules interpretation, implementation and remediation of any non compliance mattersOperational reporting for internal and external stakeholders including scheme partners and digital wallet providersApproval and governance of issuing program technical setups at network and processor levelEnsuring marketing collateral, terms and distribution activities align with scheme and Zip policy requirementsProviding payments expertise and operational insight to product, payments rails and broader stakeholder groupsWhat you''ll bring to the teamExtensive experience in payments with deep expertise in issuing operations and scheme managementProven experience working as or with a principal scheme member across Visa or Mastercard environmentsStrong understanding of the payments ecosystem and how issuing decisions impact customers and merchantsExceptional relationship building and influencing skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders around a clear whyA proactive, delivery focused leadership style with a bias for action and collaborationComfort operating in fast paced environments while creating space for others to contribute and improve outcomesA mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn and grow.An aptitude for identifying and managing risks.
