Your New Role In your new role, you will confidently develop and implement strategies to improve the returns and risk management of the multi asset funds, to improve client returns and researcher ratings. Youll provide investment recommendations, ensuring theyre effectively implemented and assist in oversight of the multi-asset team. Youre comfortable presenting to investment committees and clients to gain support for our multi-asset portfolios and the broader investment capabilities of Australian ethical. Key Responsibilities Include Drive the active asset allocation process, including implementation and with a focus on process enhancement to generate performance and improve client outcomes. Working collaboratively with the Head of Multi-Asset to implement the investment philosophy and approach in building investment capabilities Work collaboratively with AE investment teams to manage portfolios with a focus on commercial outcomes Work with the Investment Leadership team, including the CIO, to assist in strategic projects to develop Australian Ethicals investment management capacity and capabilities as relevant Continual improvement of communication materials across internal teams, Investment Committees, the Board, as well as external clients and stakeholders Take a leading role in strategy research and implementation as required across public markets In collaboration with Sales & Marketing functions, represent the investment team as appropriate to clients, planners and ratings agencies/research houses Inform and educate the wider team on portfolio issues Recommend and stress test portfolio positioning decisions and the application/development of appropriate risk management tools to assess appropriateness Enhancement of the Portfolio Design and modelling processes What were looking for Youre a highly experienced portfolio manager, with a demonstrated track record of developing and implementing high quality active asset allocation strategies within a team leading to exceptional investment performance outcomes. You have a strong Macro background in Multi Asset / Fixed Income / Equities / Hedge Funds i.e. you are strong, not just on macro economics, but understanding how that generates value within a portfolio. Youll be self-motivated and driven, inherently inquisitive, be able to work autonomously and effectively as part of a broader team to achieve positive outcomes.
