Head of Information Technology Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid This is a newly created leadership role, established to strengthen ownership, governance and operational reliability across enterprise systems, infrastructure, cyber security and IT service delivery. The role is hands-on and embedded in the business, partnering closely with senior leaders to ensure technology enables efficient, reliable and secure day-to-day operations. The Opportunity You will own the organisation''s entire technology landscape, ensuring systems are stable, scalable and fit for purpose across supply chain, inventory, finance, sales and distribution. This role suits an IT leader who enjoys being close to the business, translating operational requirements into practical technology outcomes, and taking accountability for performance, risk and service delivery. Key Responsibilities Technology Leadership & Governance Lead the end-to-end IT function with clear standards, governance and accountability Develop and execute a pragmatic technology roadmap aligned to business priorities Act as the senior escalation point for technology issues, outages and risk Provide clear, commercially focused reporting on technology performance and risk Enterprise Systems & Integration Own the performance, stability and ongoing optimisation of the core enterprise systems Oversee customer, supplier and logistics integrations supporting commercial operations Manage system upgrades, enhancements and change control to minimise disruption Ensure data integrity, accuracy and consistency across systems and reporting Infrastructure & Workplace Technology Oversee cloud and on-premise infrastructure, ensuring performance, security and cost efficiency Maintain strong governance across identity and access management, backups, disaster recovery and business continuity Ensure reliable workplace and end-user technology to support operational productivity Cyber Security & Risk Management Lead cyber security strategy and execution aligned to recognised best-practice frameworks Oversee vulnerability management, patching, incident response and remediation Conduct regular technology and cyber risk assessments Ensure compliance with privacy, security and regulatory requirements Vendor & Financial Management Manage technology vendors end-to-end, including selection, contracts, performance and renewals Own the IT budget, forecasting, cost control and investment prioritisation Provide clear recommendations on technology investments and trade-offs Service Delivery & Business Partnering Establish IT service delivery standards, service levels and escalation processes Partner closely with senior leaders to understand business needs Translate operational requirements into practical, deliverable technology solutions About You You are a commercially minded IT leader with strong operational instincts and a hands-on approach.
