Trusted, local and outcomes-driven, Mai-Wel is Full of Possible.Description: About the roleMai-Wel is seeking a passionate Employment Coach to join our Employment Services team, supporting participants through the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program.This is a front-facing, community-based role where you will deliver personalised, strengths-based employment support to help participants overcome barriers, secure sustainable employment outcomes, and receive ongoing support once placed into work.ResponsibilitiesProvide case management to participants within the IEA programConduct initial interviews and record outcomes in Workforce AustraliaDevelop and maintain tailored Job Plans aligned to participant goalsSupport participants with job searches, placements, training, and capacity buildingProvide on-the-job and post-placement support to participants to promote job retention and long-term employment successUse customised employment approaches including job carving and job developmentIdentify and address vocational and non-vocational barriers to employmentLiaise with employers, training providers, and support servicesMonitor participation, attendance, and compliance requirementsMaintain accurate and timely documentation in line with funder guidelinesSkills and ExperiencesAbout youYou are someone who genuinely cares about community outcomes and enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds.Essential:Experience in administration and customer-focused rolesUnderstanding of person-centred and strengths-based approachesStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent time management and organisational skillsCurrent First Aid (HLTAID009, HLTAID010, HLTAID011) or willingness to obtainStrong digital identity verification (MyID)Ability to travel between sites as requiredDesirable:Experience in employment services, community services, disability, or youth supportKnowledge of Workforce Australia / IEA programsTrauma-informed practice experienceCertificate III or IV in Community Services, Employment Services, Disability, Youth, Business, HR or similarCultural awareness and experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communitiesWhy join Mai-Wel?At Mai-Wel, our values of Respect, Integrity and Excellence guide everything we do.
