Process AssistantWe''re seeking for an experienced Process Assistant to join the team at our Fulfillment Center in BNE1 for Day shift.The Process Assistant will support the Area Manager, and will hold responsibilities specific to your process path.Key Job ResponsibilitiesSupport and work in Inbound and other departments as requiredHelping support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job dutiesProviding coverage for Area ManagersProviding policy follow-up, attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline)Tracking and reporting of ATS/labor hoursAssisting the floor as an associate resource, training associates and verifying SOP complianceEnsuring successful area performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performanceParticipating in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacityFully understanding workflow and daily production goalsAssisting in keeping work area clean and organisedIdentifying and addressing safety hazards within the work areaCoaching associates to work safely at all timesReferring all job injuries immediately to area managerBasic QualificationsWork a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidaysExperience working with computers and Microsoft Office products (including Outlook, Word, and Excel)Experience leading teamsAvailability to work 38 hours+/week, and overtime as requiredExcellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train and assist team membersPreferred QualificationsExperience within a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environmentLeadership experience directly managing othersExperience with performance metrics and lean process improvementAcknowledgement Of CountryIn the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
