Job Description

PARC Engineering are seeking experienced & motivated Electriciansto join our local infrastructure team to assist with terminations, switchboard installations, commissioning and general electrical duties, as part of the new Rail Link as part of the Metronet Package.This is a local-metro role working Monday Friday (weekends as required) so youre home every night.Your duties will include but not limited to:Assemble, install, test & maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus & fixtures.Install switchboards, distribution boards, transformers & circuit breakers.Install conduits, cable trays & wiring for electrical systems.Route & secure electrical cables underground or overhead as required.Plan layout & installation of electrical wiring, equipment & fixtures according to job specifications & codes.Install ground leads & connect power cables to equipment.Diagnosis, testing & correcting of any electrical issues.Inspect electrical systems, equipment &components to identify hazards, possible defects to ensure compliance of applicable codes.About the role:Casual Contract Option: $73.71/hrFull Time Contract Option:$46.53/hr + $3.50/hr electrical licence allowance + site allowance + super + penaltiesEntitlements such as paid annual leave, personal leave, etc.Mon to Fri roster: 6:45am 5:15pm (Weekends as required)ASAP StartWhat we''re looking for:WA Electrical LicenceElectrical Trade QualificationFirst Aid, CPR, LVRWhite Card & Drivers LicenceDemonstrated experience as an Electrician in the civil construction industry or similar industryA highly motivated & professional individual who demonstrates pride in their workFitness for work (able to pass a pre-employment medical & drug & alcohol screening)Highly Desirable:RIW (Rail Industry Worker) CardSW (Supervised Worker) CertificateARC Rail InductedEEHAA local role no FIFO needed!Weekly paysFuture work we are continuously growing in the industry and have some exciting projects starting soonA range of learning and development opportunities for career progression for our full-time employeesRemuneration, Reward and Recognition Programs for full-time employeesThe chance to join a growing company with a values driven culture where you can really make an impactSupport for you and your family through our free & confidential Employee Assistant Program (EAP)A bit about us PARC Engineering are specialists in Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Infrastructure projects.
