OverviewManaging Partner at Lloyd Recruitment Group & Simple Staffing : PerthOur client is a successful, Australian-owned company with Head Office in Maddington, involved in the supply of power into the mining sector. This is a busy and dynamic business in need of a hands-on accountant who can manage a wide range of tasks from basic data entry through to delivery of reports and bring the accounts to Trial Balance.You will be part of a busy and capable small team working in an industrial setting, with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and sound accounting experience in a similar sector.ResponsibilitiesManage a wide range of accounting tasks from data entry through to delivery of reports and bringing accounts to Trial Balance.Work as part of a small team, demonstrating initiative and communicating effectively with management, suppliers, clients and colleagues.Maintain accuracy and efficiency with IT systems, including MYOB, Xero and MS Office.Prepare accounts to Trial Balance and assist with budgeting, forecasting and liaising with the external accountant.What our client is looking forRelevant qualifications and Australian accounting experience, preferably in an industrial sector.Ability to work as part of a small team and communicate well with management, suppliers, clients and colleagues.Strong IT skills, particularly with MYOB, Xero and MS Office, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.Experience with AP, AR, Payroll (low volume), reporting, reconciliations, preparing accounts to Trial Balance, budgeting and forecasting, and liaising with external accountant.Positive, proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work autonomously.Role detailsThis is a full-time, permanent role paying up to A$115,000 plus super, depending on experience.
