OverviewResearch and Data Analytics Officer role at Standards Australia. Standfards Australia (SA) is the peak standards development organisation in Australia, with a history dating back to 1922. We employ professionals dedicated to helping shape Australias future and enabling safe and sustainable progress of Australian communities.About the role: Support the Research, Data Analytics, and Experience Management teams through strategic research, data analysis and administrative activities. Contribute to a wide variety of activities from initial analysis to design and sharing of knowledge across the teams.ResponsibilitiesRespond to internal requests for research and data analytics; support analysts in developing high-quality reports, value creation cases, presentations and related contentSupport knowledge-sharing activities such as internal research events, showcases, and external reportsSupport in driving research partnerships and third-party collaboration opportunitiesConduct standard mapping exercises and translate data into meaningful insights to identify opportunities for standards development and business growthDocument data pipelines and governance processes with the data teamContribute to the development and maintenance of dashboards and reportsContribute to the periodic development of white papers and other collateralCollate insights from internal data sources and report on key findingsConduct qualitative research and manage surveys using QualtricsContribute to building and managing the research community/panelsProvide document management, data entry, calendar/diary management, processing of expenses and other administration/project management activities as requiredQualificationsDegree qualification in business, marketing or relevant discipline or equivalent industry experienceExceptional written communication skillsProven ability to synthesise research findings and produce comprehensive reportsExcellent presentation skillsHigh level of attention to detailStrong analytical, research, data mining, data modelling and critical thinking skillsWorking knowledge of Power BI, Salesforce; understanding of project management methodologies is advantageousCulture & BenefitsStandards Australia values diversity and inclusion.
