Our Ground Services team has an exciting opportunity for a highly resourceful and passionate National Workforce Planner who will report directly to the National Workforce Planning Manager. This fulltime position has a national scope and will primarily focus on supporting our airside, ramp and baggage operations. The National Workforce Planner will assist with the management of resource planning across all locations in Australia, supporting operational resource planning and management strategy through effective positioning and deployment of resources and equipment to achieve excellence in the customer service experience. The role is pivotal in resourcing aspects of budget planning and control for workforce management nationally, managing operational resources on the day of operation and partnering with the Training department for optimised training plans. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Utilize and optimize roster management systems to create efficient and compliant rosters. Analyze roster data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Provide expertise and training to team members on roster system functionalities. Identify and recommend improvements to systems and processes (People, systems and equipment) to enhance operational effectiveness through review of established engagement standards, improved rosters, crossutilization and process reengineering. Coordinate the development of resource planning documentation. Develop presentations, fact sheets and information documents relating to workforce planning to provide to internal and external stakeholders. Provide analytical support to the Ground Handling Project through the development of business cases, financial modelling and data analysis to support business decision making. Support Workforce Planning Projects. Track and report progress on ongoing projects relevant to the workforce planning department. Essential Criteria Minimum 4 years experience in operational resource planning. Proven experience utilizing and optimizing roster management systems. Experience in workforce planning and/or crewing for large complex teams in the aviation industry essential. Experience in reading and interpreting Enterprise Agreements and National Awards. Leadership exposure and commitment to driving operational excellence. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills well suited to building business relationships with existing and potential customers and managing all internal as well as external stakeholders at all levels.
