Operating Theatres - Theatre Orderly - Casual Pool 2025 to 2026 Job no: 901605 Work type: Casual Location: Adelaide Metro Western Categories: Allied and Scientific Health Salary WHA-4: $29.70 - $30.01 per hour plus 25% casual leave loading Salary WHA-5: $30.39 - $30.70 per hour plus 25% casual leave loading About the Role Working under general direction, you will assist Medical and Nursing staff by performing a full range of duties both inside and outside of the Operating Theatre area. Key responsibilities include: Transportation and positioning of patients. Setup, collection and delivery of theatre equipment. Cleaning and ancillary duties. Assisting with positioning of equipment, tourniquets, electrosurgery equipment, monitors, cameras, microscopes, insufflators, etc., for scheduled procedures. Preparing beds for postoperative patients, changing linen, applying electric blanket, drip stand, cot sides. You will work in a multidisciplinary team, using modern methods of assessment and treatment in medical, surgical, mental health, allied health and other techniques.
