This is a leadership role with significant scope, combining strategic influence, operational oversight, and the chance to make a tangible impact on the growth of Alstefs service business in Australia. About The Role Reporting to the Managing Director Australia, youll be responsible for: Overseeing national O&M operations, leading regional teams and ensuring operational excellence across all contracts Managing P&L performance and driving commercial growth Delivering annual strategic and operational plans aligned with national and global objectives Building strong relationships with airport and parcel clients, nurturing partnerships while identifying new opportunities for business growth Championing continuous improvement, compliance, and safety Collaborating closely with crossfunctional teams Required Profile 10+ years experience leading largescale Operations & Maintenance (O&M) or service delivery teams across multiple sites Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Business/Commerce Proven P&L management experience with a record of achieving revenue growth and improving margins Proven leadership and people management skills in largescale operations Experience in airport baggage handling systems (BHS) is essential; experience in automation within parcel or logistics environments is also considered A proactive, driven gogetter, comfortable working autonomously Strong commercial and contract management expertise Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills across internal and external partners Willingness to travel nationally as required About You You are a strategic thinker with exceptional emotional intelligence and a proactive mindset who enjoys the challenges of working in a complex environment.
