Registered Nurse (Pool) Permanent Part Time Bull Creek, WA RAAFA WA South Perth, Western Australia, Australia As a Relief Registered Nurse, this role will cover sick and annual leave of our current staff, thereby guaranteeing a minimum number of working hours per fortnight but could see your roster pattern change from week to week. RAAFA is actively seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our night team. We require availability for at least 34 night shifts per week. This Role As The Registered Nurse Will See You Coordinate client care needs, including assessment, case management and developing individualised Care Plans. Provide complex clinical care including wound dressing, medication administration, condition assessments and referrals. Recognise changing needs of residents and liaise with residents, families and multidisciplinary team members regarding care delivery and goals of care. Perform specialised clinical nursing tasks within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse. Supervise and lead care staff and Enrolled Nurses as part of a wider team. About The Facilities Set on 11 hectares of land in Bull Creek, the Alice RossKing Care Centre is a 102bed Residential Care Centre located on the banks of Lake Howard. The contemporary twostorey care centre was designed to maximise natural lighting and the serene lakeside location, offering stunning views and a natural parkland home to many native birds including ducks and swans. Or join us at the newly refurbished Gordon Lodge, located in the heart of our Air Force Memorial Estate. This 62bed Residential Aged Care Centre offers permanent, respite and secure dementia care in the Rose Cottage dementia wing, with uninterrupted views of Lake Howard and surrounded by gardens and streetscapes. About You Possess a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification. Hold a current AHPRA registration. Possess excellent clinical knowledge and skills with at least 6 months of experience in aged care. Ability to relate to the elderly with empathy and understand their needs. Demonstrate flexible decisionmaking and advanced problemsolving skills. Excellent timemanagement and organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise work tasks.
