Truck Team Member Labourer / Customer Service / Truck Driver Flexible Hours: 30-50hrs/wk | Pay: $35 - $37/hr + additional daily and weekly bonuses available after training. Truck Team Members at 1800-GOT-JUNK are the "face" of 1800-GOT-JUNK. Each day is different. We are seeking friendly, fresh-faced team members to join our journey of providing exceptional customer service to customers. You will travel around to different areas of the Gold Coast in our shiny blue trucks, visiting customers'' homes or businesses to provide an upfront price for removing unwanted items, while leaving smiles on their faces. Our team is committed to safety and to being environmentally friendly by re-purposing, reusing, recycling, donating, and other options to keep as much out of landfills as possible. Part Time & Casual Positions Available: 30hrs+ per week (with the potential to increase in the future if interested). About You You are an energetic, team player who loves to work in a fun environment, meet lots of new people each day, thrives from variety, and doing physical work. We look for people with an optimistic, problem-solving nature who strive to go above and beyond. You will be able to commute to Northgate (4013). We offer flexible schedules for people seeking part-time or casual work to fit around your studies or other employment. Once you are a certified team member we have remote starts around the city to reduce your morning commute times. Open car licence is essential LR truck licence is a bonus. We have internal and external driving inductions/tests to ensure you have the skill set and mindset to keep yourself, the public and our vehicles safe on Queensland roads. Must be able to get to Northgate (train comes to the back of our facility) for shifts. What You Will Do You will follow safety training and wear all required uniform and safety equipment. Youll remove, load, and sort customers'' unwanted items to find the best outcome for them. Youll ensure the job order is completed as required. Work efficiently with the team to stay on schedule. Create an exceptional customer experience. Be in charge of estimating removals and providing upfront pricing. We pay award rates + super + bonuses.
