This is a senior advisory role that combines technical depth, commercial insight, and legal credibility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in resource project evaluations, economic modeling, and preferably exposure to mergers & acquisitions within the mining sector.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Evaluation & FeasibilityConduct comprehensive technical and economic evaluations of mining projects (greenfield and brownfield).Review geological data, mine plans, and engineering designs for compliance with international standards (JORC, NI 43-101).Perform financial modeling, risk assessments, and sensitivity analyses to support investment decisions.Expert Witness & Dispute ResolutionPrepare independent, defensible reports for litigation, arbitration, and regulatory inquiries.Provide credible testimony in court or tribunal settings.Analyze project claims, contractual disputes, and cost overruns with forensic rigor.Strategic Advisory & M&A SupportContribute to due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and investment decisions in mining projects.Assess asset valuations and identify risks and opportunities for resource projects.Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with legal teams, project owners, and investors to deliver impartial evaluations.Present findings clearly and persuasively to senior management and external stakeholders.Qualifications & ExperienceDegree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related discipline.15+ years experience in mining project development, operations, or consulting.Proven expertise in project feasibility studies, economic evaluations, and risk analysis.Prior experience as an Expert Witness or involvement in dispute resolution/arbitration highly desirable.Exposure to M&A activities within mining or resource projects is a strong advantage.Exceptional communication and report-writing skills; ability to present complex findings clearly.Desired SkillsFamiliarity with mining software (e.g., Whittle, MineSched) and financial modeling tools.Experience across multiple jurisdictions and international mining standards.Ability to maintain impartiality and credibility under legal scrutiny.Why Join Us?Work on high-profile mining projects and strategic evaluations across APAC.Engage in legal advisory and M&A support at the highest level.Competitive remuneration and flexible working arrangements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
