It is a portfolio-level role focused on execution readiness, governance, and predictability across multiple assets.Role scopeYou will work closely with Projects, Operations, Finance and senior leadership to bring discipline, transparency and certainty to capital execution.Key responsibilities include:Leading front-end planning and execution readiness across a portfolio of brownfields projectsDeveloping and maintaining fully integrated schedules (Primavera P6 or equivalent), including logic-linked interfaces between projects and operationsEstablishing and embedding project controls standards, governance frameworks and reporting cadenceCost control, forecasting, progress measurement (earned value or equivalent) and variance analysisSupporting transition from study / definition into execution, including schedule and cost baseliningProviding senior-level insight on schedule risk, sequencing conflicts and capital phasingWorking directly with senior stakeholders to inform decisionmaking, not just reporting outcomesWhat were looking forThis role suits someone who is comfortable operating with ambiguity and influence rather than authority.You will bring:Extensive experience in project controls within mining or heavy resourcesProven exposure to owneroperator environments, ideally across multiple assets or portfoliosStrong Primavera P6 capability (or equivalent enterprise scheduling tools)Demonstrated experience in brownfields, liveoperations environmentsStrong commercial and governance mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions constructivelyConfidence engaging with senior leaders and holding the line on planning disciplineWhy this roleThis is a highimpact role where strong project controls capability directly influences capital outcomes.
