Job Description At Colliers, we remain committed to strengthening our respected Property Research team. We are currently looking to appoint a Research Analyst on a 12month fixedterm contract, located in the Perth CBD. This key role will report into the National Director of Research and be responsible for supporting all aspects of research in the WA market. The role will focus on supporting the Colliers National Research team in managing key property and market data processes and analysing data to provide meaningful insights on WA to support internal and external clients. Integral to this role is the ability to collaborate with multiple Colliers teams and key department heads and stakeholders across the business to ensure the collection of highquality data on relevant WA property sectors. Responsibilities Carry out the collection and analysis of property market indicators across sectors for WA on a quarterly basis to produce market commentary for internal and external distribution. Manage the ongoing data aggregation of comparable sales and leasing evidence, property market trends and general property information for WA. Update presentation material with the latest data and insights on a regular basis or as needed by the business and assist in supporting PR initiatives. Update WA economic commentaries as new data is published and add into research materials for the business to utilise. Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualification with minimum 2years proven experience in a research or analyst role either from a property firm, financial institution, consulting firm, council or government. Strong in statistics/econometrics, data management and analytics. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and in particular Excel charting and pivot tables). Advanced Excel skills highly desirable. Experience creating and working with data visualisation tools such as PowerBI or similar, and mapping tools. Ability to formulate opinions and write commentaries and summaries. Excellent communication skills both written and oral, with the ability to converse with all levels of staff from senior managers to technical staff. Ability to work competently to achieve key milestone dates.
