About This Role We are seeking a skilled and proactive Applications Specialist Salesforce to manage and optimize our Sales Cloud CRM and integrated platforms across the broader marketing technology ecosystem. Working closely with our internal Marketing, Communications and Business Development team (MCBD), this role is pivotal in ensuring the CRM platform supports business objectives, enhances user experience, and drives operational efficiency across the firms sales and marketing functions. The role will also involve support of our internal ITSM platform and template management/document automation platform. Key Responsibilities Salesforce Administration Maintain and configure Salesforce Sales Cloud including objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and user roles. Manage user setup, permissions, profiles, and data access to ensure security and compliance. Monitor system performance and security, troubleshooting issues to ensure platform stability. Stay current with Salesforce releases; roadmap future releases based on available features and business requests. Manage the ongoing relationship with Salesforce, partners, and internal champion networks. Platform Integration & Support Support integrations between Salesforce and other platforms (e.g., marketing automation tools, data enrichment services, ERP systems). Collaborate within the Digital team to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability. Process Optimization Partner with the MCBD team to identify, assess, design, and deliver enhancements to the platform, maximizing ROI and aiming for operational efficiency. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within the CRM and connected platforms. Training & Documentation Support the Digital training function with enduser training, support, and documentation to promote adoption and effective use of Salesforce. Additional Systems Administer the Freshservice ITSM platform and Templafy template management & document automation platform. Required Skills & experience Relevant tertiary qualification or combination of qualification/experience within the IT field. Demonstrated experience in the support and management of Salesforce Sales Cloud. Strong understanding of CRM best practices, data governance, and user experience principles. Excellent customer service skills and proactive, customerfocused attitude. Demonstrated high level of oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of crossfunctional teams. Demonstrated ability to proactively manage work priorities, problemsolve, and meet deadlines. Proven experience in staying up to date with latest technology trends. Desirable Relevant experience with marketing automation and data enrichment platforms including Adobe Marketo, Workfront, Outreach, 6Sense, and Introhive. Experience with administering ITSM platform, FreshService. Experience with administering template management platform, Templafy. SALESFORCE Administrator certification. Strong understanding of ITIL principles and service management tooling/processes, with ITIL v4 certification highly desirable. Business process reengineering and design experience, including the creation of process documents, user documentation, and report generation. Previous experience in an accounting, finance, or professional services environment.
