Bechtel is providing a wide variety project and contract management services, crossing all disciplines, to customers in Western Australia to support exciting capital works programmes, including in aviation, defence and energy infrastructure. We are looking for people to join us in a longterm relationship to deliver these services in and around Perth where we are working within integrated teams with our customers and to help build Bechtels capabilities for even greater opportunities in the future. Job Summary: In this role, you will integrate environmental requirements into largescale project planning documents, permit applications, design criteria, construction plans, schedules, and subcontract documents. You will provide input on decisions, identify new approaches, conduct inspections, and participate in emergency response. Your work will help reduce adverse environmental impacts to ensure that the Project heritage commitments are being adhered to and managed to a high standard. Major Responsibilities: Monitor all construction approval conditions; MDP, Section18, CEMP and PNR Cultural Heritage Management Plan (CHMP) commitments for the Project: Heritage Compliance and Assurance Liaise with customer and contractor team members to ensure compliance and alignment with organisational policies, frameworks and processes. Participate and undertake heritage risk assessments, inspections, audits, monitoring, and compliance tasks to report on and enhance heritage performance. Contribute to project reviews and assurance activities against approval conditions and targets. Update Project heritage management plans and documents as and when required. Identify nonconformances and provide advice to the Manager Cultural Heritage and Senior Project Manager. Education and Experience Requirements: Requires a Bachelors degree of Science (or Arts) with a major in Anthropology/Archaeology or equivalent (or international equivalent) related to environmental sciences, field biology, or natural resources and 58 years of relevant experience or 912 years of relevant work experience. Required Knowledge and Skills: 5+ years experience delivering heritage management and compliance responsibilities within largescale construction projects. Demonstrated knowledge and application of WA and Commonwealth heritage legislation with experience in compliance management. Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining construction/operational Cultural Heritage Management plans and frameworks.
