Glencore employs over 145,000 people and operates around 150 operating mining and processing sites, oil production assets and agricultural facilities in over 35 countries.The RoleThe successful person will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive breakdown maintenance work in our process plant. You will have experience working on a wide variety of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, fixed plant piping, valves and be familiar with laser alignment procedures. Previous experience with high pressure and high temperature autoclaves will also be an advantage for our Refinery Area. Ideally you will have experience with sizer screens, mills, thickener tanks and related agitators, and various pumps. Experience with HPAL autoclaves is highly desirable for this role for our Ore Leach area.About YouThis role would suit a driven Mechanical Fitter with previous experience working in a similar hydrometallurgical process plant who is looking for job security and career opportunities.You will also have:Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification (essential)A current and valid manual Australian drivers licenceProven experience with centrifugal and positive displacement pumpsProven experience working with all types of fixed plant piping, valves, and laser alignmentExperience with sizer screens, mills, thickener tanks and related agitators, and various pumps.
