About the Role Join our fouryear Apprentice program as an Apprentice Parks & Gardens with Green by Nature. The role is based around the City of Port Phillip, including Elwood, St Kilda, South Melbourne, Albert Park, Southbank and Windsor. The program starts 1 April 2026. Responsibilities Work alongside skilled professionals to maintain and enhance green spaces. Attend weekly classroom sessions to build theoretical knowledge. Participate in handson training and mentorship throughout the program. Develop skills in plant recognition, care and maintenance, plant nutrition, pest and disease management, irrigation systems installation and maintenance, transplanting, pruning, mowing operations and safety protocols. Qualifications and Requirements No prior experience required. Valid drivers licence desirable but not essential. Must be available to commence 1 April 2026. Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain). Valid White Card (or willingness to obtain). Australian citizenship to satisfy educational requirements.
