Youll get to know each persons life story, interests, and goals, and design engaging individual and group activities that meet their psychosocial, cognitive, spiritual, and occupational needs. Youll plan and coordinate fun eventsboth inside and outside the communityensuring everyone feels included and connected. For residents living with dementia or complex needs, youll create tailored activities that reflect their abilities and preferences, reviewing plans regularly to ensure ongoing support. Youll maintain clear, easytoread activity calendars, track outcomes, and report progress to the Residential Manager. The role also involves supporting volunteers, fostering their involvement, and partnering with residents to codesign programs and initiatives. This is a handson, creative role where you can make a real difference, bring energy and positivity to everyday life, and help residents stay active, engaged, and connected in a vibrant, welcoming community. About You Essential Qualifications & Experience Bachelor, Diploma, or CertificateIV in Leisure & Health (or equivalent) Experience in aged care, supporting people with dementia and endoflife care Understanding of BaptistCares Christian values Strong communication and problemsolving skills Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards Excellent teamwork, relationshipbuilding, and interpersonal skills Current First Aid Certificate Experience training volunteers and staff Other Information You are required to work in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards. You will complete all mandatory training and participate in annual planning and appraisal processes. A Police Background Check is required.
