About the Opportunity The School of Engineering offers a broad range of undergraduate, postgraduate by coursework and higher degree by research (HDR) programmes. We are seeking a candidate who can make a significant contribution to teaching, research and industry engagement. As a Lecturer in Electrical Engineering you will: Teach a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate units in electrical engineering. Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation processes, highschool engagement activities and academic administration. Conduct highquality research, seek competitive research funding and supervise honours, postgraduate coursework and HDR students. Develop and expand your scholarly research and professional activities at national and international levels. Maintain and strengthen industry partnerships, fostering collaborations that drive impactful teaching, research and innovative advancements in electrical engineering. Note: this position requires facetoface teaching on our Joondalup campus; remote work options are not available. About You A bachelors degree and PhD relevant to electrical engineering. Demonstrated ability to deliver highquality teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate electrical engineering units. Evidence of, or clear potential for, conducting highquality research, publishing in reputable outlets and securing competitive research funding. Experience in, or demonstrated capacity for, supervising honours, postgraduate coursework and HDR students. A commitment to curriculum development, accreditation processes, academic administration and outreach activities. Industry engagement experience, with the ability to build and maintain productive partnerships that enhance teaching, research and innovation. Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to contribute positively to a collegial academic environment.
