About the role and where you will be working: Were looking for a compassionate and reliable Care Worker to join our team at Germanus Kent House in Broome. This is a permanent parttime position, working a mix of AM and PM shifts. Since 2008, Germanus Kent House has been caring for the local Broome community. Our modern facility accommodates up to 55 residents, providing a safe, welcoming environment where residents feel at home. What youll do: As a Care Worker, youll play an important role in supporting residents with their daily activities, including: Assisting with personal care such as showering and dressing.Reading and following individual care plans.Working under the guidance of Shift Managers (Nursing & Facility).Building strong, respectful relationships with residents and their families.Showing compassion and patience in every interaction. About you: You enjoy spending time with elderly people and are comfortable working independently.Youre organized, proactive, and able to multitask effectively.You have great communication skills (spoken and written) and attention to detail for accurate record keeping. To be considered, youll need: Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support.Initiative and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
