You''ll operate cleaning equipment and use effective cleaning techniques ensuring a clean and hygienic environment is provided for our residents. A positive can-do attitude and the ability to work well in multidisciplinary teams to deliver these essential services to our residents is essential. Responsibilities Cleaning resident rooms, common areas and bathrooms to the highest standard Complete cleaning tasks as per schedules and ensure documentation on completion Communication and coordination with other staff regarding cleaning requirementsStock control and ordering, and associated record keeping Complying with Workplace Health and Safety & Infection Control policies and procedures at all times Qualifications At least two years'' experience working with commercial cleaning services is desirable Experience working in an aged care or health-related facility (desired) Understanding of safe use of chemicals and cleaning products An enthusiastic attitude and a commitment to working positively in a team Compassion and empathy for the elderly Excellent time management and communication skills Flexibility with start time and days (including weekends) Who is Southern Cross Care Queensland?
