Opportunity As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide high-quality personal care, social support and daily assistance to residents within their Aveo home. You will promote their independence, build social connection, assist with day-to-day tasks, and ensure their wellbeing. What we offer $43.24/hr including 25% casual loading + relevant Award entitlements (penalty rates, overtime, allowances) + superannuation Employee Referral Program and Employee Assistance Program Discounts to Health Insurance and Retail & Leisure partner providers Opportunities for further career progression Be part of a friendly and supportive team in a caring retirement living community Opportunity to work across a number of our communities Morning, afternoon and night-time shifts available Responsibilities Work independently within resident villas or units to provide inhome care including personal hygiene, house cleaning, laundry and more Interact with residents in their homes or spend time in the community completing daily activities (e.g., driving them to appointments) Provide care tailored to the residents care needs in line with their care plans Support residents with recreational and social activities Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents Complete simple administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date What you will bring Experience within a Support Worker or Personal Care position, with a passion for community care, independent living and wellbeing Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required) Valid drivers licence + vehicle (required) Current First Aid & CPR certificate and two COVID19 vaccinations (required) Current Police Check clearance (required; we can complete it for you) Who we are As a leader in retirement living, with 30 years'' experience, Aveo provides stability and confidence to try new things and keep innovating.
