About The Role Perth Childrens Hospital is seeking Clinical Neurophysiology Scientists to join our specialised Neurophysiology department and ensure the delivery of patientcentred and familycentred care. In this role, you will perform a range of paediatric neurophysiological diagnostic procedures and monitoring, contributing directly to the diagnosis and care of infants, children and adolescents. You will work collaboratively with paediatric neurologists and multidisciplinary teams, while continuing to build your expertise in a supportive, learningfocused environment. Your ability to adapt your approach to meet the diverse needs of children, caregivers and colleagues will be key to success. Key Responsibilities Conduct a variety of paediatric neurophysiological tests including EEG, evoked potentials and nerve conduction studies, providing accurate and timely assessments. Analyse test results, ensuring comprehensive and precise reports for patient records. Maintain neurophysiological equipment, ensuring accuracy and functionality. Stay uptodate with advancements in clinical neurophysiology and paediatric neurology research. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and uphold our commitment to excellence in patient care. About Our Team The Neurophysiology Department is part of the Childrens Neuroscience Service at PCH and provides comprehensive diagnostic and monitoring services for children from preterm to 18 years of age, with a particular focus on epilepsy and complex neurological conditions. Services include EEGs, neonatal EEGs for infants in intensive care (via a satellite service to King Edward Memorial Hospital), evoked potentials and intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring during brain and spinal surgeries.
