Head of Technical Services | General Manager Technical Services SO4 is on a mission to produce worldclass Sulphate of Potash (SOP). ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Technical Services is accountable for leading highperforming Engineering, Environment & Approvals, and Resource Development teams. This role provides strategic direction, technical governance, and disciplined execution to support safe, compliant, and efficient operations, while enabling longterm asset value and growth. ABOUT YOU You are a credible and decisive technical leader with a strong ethical foundation and a proven ability to lead highperforming, multidisciplinary teams. You operate with integrity, discretion, and sound judgement, and are trusted to manage sensitive technical, environmental, and regulatory matters. You bring a strong understanding of engineering principles, systems, and methodologies, combined with a solid working knowledge of environmental approvals, heritage obligations, and regulatory frameworks. You also possess both practical and theoretical expertise in hydrogeological concepts, processes, and controls relevant to brinebased operations. To be successful, you will have: A degree in Engineering or Science (Mining, Civil, Chemical, Hydrogeology, or similar). 15+ years experience in senior technical or leadership roles within the mining sector. Demonstrated experience preparing and governing complex technical studies, deliverables, and development plans. Strong analytical capability, with a proven ability to diagnose complex technical issues and deliver practical, effective solutions. A track record of leading, developing, and sustaining highperforming technical teams. Together with Proficiency in SysCAD software. Skills in Leap Frog software. Proficiency in data analysis and modelling software, such as GIS, MODFLOW, and groundwater models. Experience using Pronto on an intermediate level. Working knowledge of Aconex.
