We are seeking Trades Assistants to provide assistance and support to the tradespersons on mechanical repairs and servicing on all mobile and fixed plant equipment.This is a residential role to Kalgoorlie, based out of our Kalgoorlie Service Centre, working Monday - Friday (10 hour days).Responsibilitiesgeneral housekeeping and cleaning of workshopgeneral assistance for tradespeople mixture of Diesel Fitters, LV Fitters, Boilermakers, Electricians, & Auto Electricians;machine cleaning including high pressure washingparts and supplies running between work site and workshopprovide support to maximise availability of fixed and mobile plant & equipment with efficient, on time cost effective maintenance and repairattend and contribute to pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, safety meetings, roster change and shift change meetings when requiredcomplete all pre start checks prior to use of equipmentconduct Take 5''s and JSA''s when requiredQualificationsexperience as a TA or Labourermechanical aptitudeAbout UsIn 1962, Jim Redpaths vision for the company was much the same as it is today; offering a high level of service to the mining industry, which exceeds current standards and provides challenge for its employees.
