Our team is collaborative, approachable, and always ready to help each other succeed.Supportive Leadership: Youll be surrounded by down-to-earth, experienced professionals who value mentorship, input, and initiative.Newly renovated offices in Bundall: Our team worked hard over the Christmas period to deliver us beautifully appointed offices in Bundall.What Youll Be DoingMonth-end balance sheet reconciliations and posting of general ledger journal entries including but not limited to intercompany loan balancing, accruals and prepayments, recharges, re-allocation of incorrect postingsMaintaining the Fixed Asset Register and process improvementsReviewing the bank reconciliation for each entity ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial recordsProviding management accounting support by analysing job cost reports and overhead expenditure.Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly BAS returns including claims for Fuel Tax CreditsAssisting with the weekly cashflow reportingAssist with the weekly payment run processes.Engaging in the annual audit process and assisting in the delivery of audit requirementsLeave relieving the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable staff.Provide other accounting and administration support to the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Controller as required.What You''ll BringCA or CPA qualification or studying towards preferredAt least 2 years experience in a financial accounting roleStrong technical accounting skills and confidence in financial reportingA proactive, commercially curious mindset and strong attention to detailAccounting experience in a construction environment desirableExperience with Plexa, Xero, EziScan, Therefore, Databuild and Technology One CIA software desirableAdvanced excel skills is preferredAccounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience is desirablePositive work attitude and the desire to learn new tasksThe ability to communicate clearly with various stakeholders and build positive relationshipsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailWhy You''ll Love UsWe dont just focus on financials we care about our people.
