Job Description

The Team Working within a Primary Health Care Framework, the Continence and Spinal Service provides advanced clinical leadership, specialist assessment and clinical care to those in the community with continence issues and spinal cord injury across the acute and community practice setting. The Role The Clinical Nurse Consultant Continence and Spinal Service, is an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, providing advanced clinical assessment, intervention and evaluation of outcomes for clients living with continence issues and spinal cord injury. The role plays a key part in educating and supporting clients, carers, health professionals, and the wider community about continence issues and how to manage them. This parttime position is suited to nurses working within the acute or community environment, who want to broaden their knowledge and skill in a specialist area. Details of appointment Permanent part time, day worker position, working 16 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. Salary $118,297 to $125,543 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. Allowances Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type. Salary Packaging Youll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
