Local Weipa or Mapoon applicants will be highly regarded, although FIFO arrangements from Cairns can be made for the ideal candidate. Experience Experience as a Utility Arborist / Tree Cutter or similar industry is preferable Understanding and experience of remote operation working procedures (essential) A basic knowledge of the mining industry Candidate Requirements Certificate III in Arboriculture Manual Drivers'' Licence Construction Induction (white card) G1 Apply Risk Management Certificate Working at Heights Certificate EWP High Risk Work Licence (WP) Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and random drug & alcohol testing Be able to execute tasks as directed by supervisor Be able to identify issues with tasks and report to supervisor as required to prevent delays.
