Kathleen Lumley Foundation is an incorporated association and newly-formed philanthropic foundation in Adelaide that seeks to:advance cross-disciplinary study on issues that contribute to the creation of social, cultural, economic and environmental prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region, andsupport post-doctoral researchers and post-graduate research students, for the purposes of enhancing their connection, wellbeing and academic achievement.The Foundation is supported by a small secretariat and governed by a volunteer Council and committees in the areas of:Finance and InvestmentScholarships, andThe Foundation is seeking to appoint a number of new committee members in 2026 and 2027 with general governance skills as well as experience in the following specific areas:investment and funds managementphilanthropy and fundraisingoundations and grant-making, andresearch and higher education.We are seeking to establish a pool of prospective candidates that will allow us to implement a staged and orderly transition of membership on our committees. Each committee meets quarterly, either face to face or online. Appointment to the Foundations Council is through prior service on one of its committees.
